The decor was charming and made me feel right at home, like a favorite grandmother's living room. The common areas were easily accessible, making it a pleasure to navigate during my stay.
More seating in common areas would be nice.

really enjoyed my stay at the barley house hotel. the staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially the proprietor. the deluxe double room was comfy, and i loved having my own bathroom with a clean shower. even tho i booked last minute, everything went smoothly and they made me feel right at home. it was a great place to crash after a long drive.
the parking was a bit limited and i wish breakfast was included. also, the Wi-Fi was kinda slow.

Awesome location and comfy stay!
Had a lovely time! The place was super close to the Barbican, which made exploring easy. The room had great views and a super comfy bed. Plus, the coffee and mini fridge were lifesavers! Only thing was, the bathroom could use some updating, but it was still decent. Really enjoyed it overall!

It was a solid choice for a quick break in Plymouth with excellent value for money. The parking was a bit tricky to find, but there were enough spaces available. A tip for anyone visiting is to keep in mind that a few flights of stairs might be challenging if you're carrying big bags.

The Deluxe Double Room provides a solid experience with a clean shower that feels refreshed after a long day. Extra touches like a solid selection of DVDs for entertainment create a cozy atmosphere, making it easy to unwind.
Parking can be tricky with limited options, especially during peak hours, so don’t expect an easy in-and-out if you've got a vehicle. The bathroom could use better shelving for personal items. it felt cluttered and lacked surfaces for essentials. Lastly, some basic toiletries like soap weren't provided, which can be a hassle if you're not prepared.

The Deluxe Double Room had a cool, vintage vibe that really captured the charm of the place. The provided heater was a lifesaver on a chilly night, making it cozy without any hassle.
The room could use a little modernization. the decor felt a bit tired. The dark microfibre sheets weren't to my taste, and getting the room completely dark was a struggle due to the curtains. Micropayments seemed outdated as well, with bank transfers being a hassle when a simple card payment would have been smoother. Lastly, high placements of the bathroom mirror and blind control could pose challenges for shorter folks.
